Titania is developing new residential blocks in the Skyttorp project, located in the central parts of Salem. The purpose of the detailed development plan is to create a new town centre, and Titania is part of a group of property developers that will deliver new residential development comprising approximately 600 apartments. Titania’s blocks are distinguished by a sheltered, secure inner courtyard designed to enhance safety, featuring a variety of light-coloured materials.

Project description
About Skyttorp
Skyttorp will consist of just over 80 apartments ranging from one to four rooms and kitchen, as well as commercial premises. The block has a varied number of floors, between four and six storeys. The shared courtyard will be partially elevated due to the natural differences in terrain height. The apartments are accessed via external gallery corridors facing the courtyard. The block is characterized by varied recessed and projecting volumes with balconies. The roofscape is designed with distinctive sawtooth roofs.
Area
Through the new detailed development plan, Salem’s center is planned to be transformed into a town center characterized by a small-town identity, with a variation of building volumes to create lively and engaging environments. Within the town center, space is intended for activities and culture for all ages, along with a strong connection to greenery. In the central parts of Salem, approximately 600 new homes and a civic center are planned.
Most of the housing will be located within the Skyttorp block. The small valley, where the current sports field is situated, will take on the character of a city park and will have a direct connection to the new civic center. The site of the current municipal building and Murgrönan will also be developed with two new residential blocks. The civic center is planned to include, among other things, a new library, assembly hall, café/restaurant, and offices for the municipal administration.
