About Topasen 3

Close to Täby Centrum – one of Sweden’s largest shopping centres with 260 shops – the new district Täby Park, which includes Topasen 3, is emerging. When Täby Park is completed, around 6,000 homes and 5,000 workplaces will have replaced the former Täby Racetrack.

In Täby Park you will find a big-city range of shops, services, restaurants and cafés, while retaining small-town charm. Here you stroll to your favourite café and greet your neighbours in the park.

Topasen 3 was designed by Wingårdhs.

Topasen 3 - Winner of the Täby Municipality's Urban Design Award

Titania has been awarded Täby Municipality’s Urban Design Award 2024 for Topasen 3. Since 2011, Täby Municipality has presented the award to a place or object that stands out and has been completed within the last three years. Residents of the municipality can nominate a place or object they feel deserves the distinction. The nominations are presented to a jury that selects which projects go on to a voting round. People living in Täby can then vote for their favourite on the municipality’s website.

Jury’s citation:

“The block forms a sculpturally designed backdrop to Robert Killicks torg and the Boulevard. It is a rational modular building that lives up to high ambitions in terms of architecture and detailing. The block’s four façades interact with the different character and scale of the adjoining street spaces. Solid materials such as slate, warm wood, wrought-iron railings and facing brick define the colour palette and material expression. A green courtyard becomes a quiet oasis in the most central parts of Täby Park. The block also brings together several different housing typologies and qualities with restaurants and outdoor seating on the square. Taken together, this creates a vibrant urban environment.”
