Project description
About Skogsgungan
Not far from central Åkersberga and with the Stockholm archipelago just around the corner, the Valsjöskogen area is taking shape. Here, Titania is developing the scenic residential block Brf Skogsgungan together with Blooc – 30 urban townhouses designed by the architects at Blooc.
The area
Valsjöskogen will be an attractive district located on a magnificent rocky height that invites a tranquil, close-to-nature lifestyle. In a safe environment embraced by nature, you have easy access to walks in the forest as well as swimming, fishing and boating in the Stockholm archipelago just around the corner.
In central Åkersberga there is a wide range of shops, cafés, restaurants and the canal with its historic character. The Roslagsbanan railway takes you to Stockholm Östra in just under 30 minutes.
With completed local streets, a playground and plans for a new preschool, the area is characterised by small-scale development that at the same time preserves large natural areas for recreation and outdoor life. Valsjöskogen will be a residential area that promotes a social and active life both in the neighbourhood and in the green spaces outside. The perfect district for active, social families with children – a place to live and a place to be together.
The homes
The houses offer generous floor plans with rooms that can be used in the way that best suits your needs. The homes are designed with a focus on social living and with space to grow.
The kitchen is classic and of high quality, specially designed by Blooc. The beautiful colours of the cabinet fronts combined with carefully selected materials create a harmonious and cohesive impression. This is a kitchen made for cooking dinners together, with plenty of storage for crockery, glasses and kitchenware in wall and base cabinets.
An open dining area is placed between the kitchen and living room to create a social space that invites long weekend breakfasts with the family as well as leisurely dinners with friends. The living room is characterised by a large window that lets light flood the entire room. A glazed door leads out to the terrace in the green garden outside, with space for a cosy sofa corner, dining area and barbecue.
The bathrooms offer a warm, welcoming atmosphere with classic design elements and stylish materials selected by the architects at Blooc. The ground-floor bathroom has room for storage or a changing table. On the upper floor, the bathroom is centrally located with convenient access from all rooms and includes both a washing machine and tumble dryer. Both bathrooms are equipped with a shower, WC and a classic vanity unit from Blooc.
On the upper floor, the home’s three bedrooms are gathered around the floor’s central hub, forming a private sleeping level. The bedrooms are calm, light and well matched to the size of the house. All bedrooms have wardrobes with ample storage. The rooms are designed with flexibility in mind, so you can use them as bedrooms, guest rooms or a home office. There is also the option to choose three bedrooms and an open family room.
